Do you get enough time outdoors?
Important for a whole lotta reasons, not enough time in nature is indicated in having a weaker immune system (less exposure to dirt), insomnia (sunlight is needed to regulate your sleep cycles), mental health disorders and vitamin D deficiency (imperative for your health, including strong bones) to name but a few.
As a Mama I find outdoor time a must have as I know it will 1) wear Ashton out 2) help him sleep better with all that sunshine and 3) kids who spend more time ‘in nature’ show more creativity and imagination. But oh my gawd it’s also so nice to go somewhere where I can just plonk myself down and let him roam free - no need for tantrums here!
So as far as I can see it’s a total win. If getting outside daily isn’t something you already do I urge you to make this a priority! Your body and mind will thank you for it.
